On 1 February 2001 ScottishPower announced the dividend for the third quarter ended 31 December 2000 as 6.51pence per ordinary share. The dividend will be payable on 15 March 2001 to shareholders on the register on 16 February 2001.

This is to confirm that the dividend rate per American Depositary Share (ADS) is $0.3805. The ADS dividend will be paid on 15 March 2001 to ADS holders of record on 16 February 2001.
